My Story: Photographer, Researcher, Visual Storyteller

"Every photograph is a secret about a secret," wrote Diane Arbus. It's a thought I return to often after a photoshoot or while editing. There are moments where the frozen world unexpectedly seems to fall into place, and everything in it makes sense. What Roland Barthes called the puctum.

When I first started shooting, my eye found its home in landscapes — in their stillness, their scale, their silence. Now, I strive to depict life in all its little and great moments and to explore what words often fail to capture: the weight of a space, the passage of time, the quiet complexity of human relationships and the moments that define us.

Photography is a powerful language and a medium for self-expression. This belief shapes everything I do — from my doctoral research at the University of West Attica, where I examine photography as a medium of memory and identity, to my personal artistic practice, and the commercial work I carry out with the same care and commitment.

As a commercial photographer

I work with individuals and organisations on architecture and real estate, portraits, events, and weddings — bringing to each project not just technical skill, but a genuine desire to see and to tell. Because whether it's an architectural space or a fleeting glance between two people, every image holds a story worth telling well.

As a researcher

and a lecturer pursuing a PhD at the University of West Attica, I  examine photography as a visual language and as a medium of memory and meaning. This academic lens deepens the way I see — and the way I work.

As a visual storyteller

I bring all of it together in a personal artistic practice, where photography becomes a language for everything words fail to capture, through long-term projects and exhibitions at the intersection of the documentary and the intimate.
